Description

Real ice cream that actually works for you. 24g complete protein, 170 calories, no sugar spikes.

Protein shakes get old. Regular ice cream wrecks your goals. This is different. Mix it with milk, freeze it, blend it into thick, scoopable ice cream. No fake sweeteners that wreck your gut. No chalky protein aftertaste. Built on real dairy proteins from US farms, not whey isolate and gums. This is actual ice cream that happens to have macros.

The vanilla is clean and rich. The chocolate has real cocoa depth. Strawberry tastes like actual berries. Not "protein flavors" - the real thing. The casein-rich base means it churns thick and creamy, never icy, never gritty. Same texture you get from the scoop shop. Works in a Ninja Creami (best method), ice cream maker, or blender in a pinch.

One bag makes eight full pints. Stock your freezer. Eat ice cream without the tradeoff.

What it tastes like

We spent a TON of time perfecting the flavors and getting the texture right. The testing was messy, fun and time-consuming but worth it in the end.

Vanilla: classic ice cream shop taste but made with cleaner ingredients.

Chocolate: mellow milk chocolate vibe, smooth and familiar, no bitterness.

Strawberry: creamy, bright, a little tang, founders favorite.

Enjoy them straight up or they work really well as a base for your own mix-ins and creations. If you need ideas, check the Mix-Ins page.

How to make it

Any type of milk works well - dairy or plant based.

Creami: Mix with milk, freeze, spin. Eat. That's it. (Works great with mix-ins too)

Ice Cream Maker: Mix with milk, chill in fridge, churn with your ice cream maker.

Blender: Add crushed ice, add 2 scoops CRUSHS, blend until slushy. Add 2oz milk, blend on low to begin, speed up a bit until good consistency.

CRUSHS is specifically formulated with a blend of milk powders to become amazing, great tasting ice cream.

Why I made this

Hi, founder David here. I was getting serious about working out and eating better a few years ago, but hitting my protein goals was hard. I wanted something that felt like a treat at night without a ton of calories. Plus it had to be easy to make.

I tried a bunch of “healthy” desserts. Chalky protein, weird sweeteners, icy texture. They weren't bad but nothing special either.

So I started mixing up my own ice cream blend at home. My wife loved it. Friends loved it. Even my mother in law who was diabetic could eat it without spiking her blood sugar. It's made with low glycemic sweeteners and didn't spike her at all.

I couldn’t really find anything like it, so I went all in and perfected the mix. Tested hundreds of ideas and formulas, found the right ingredients and started working with a co-manufacturer. And now, here we are.

I still eat a pint almost every night usually using my Ninja Creami. Happy I made a product I love that I get to share with others now! Plus, I get an extra ~35g of protein almost every night which is great.

Any last questions?

Try CRUSHS ↑

Is it easy to make?

Our favorite way is using the Creami. Mix 2 scoops and some milk in your Creami pint. Freeze, spin and eat.

Normally you'd need to buy a few ingredients, measure them out and mix them together. There's nothing wrong with that. We still make fun Creami creations and you should too. CRUSHS is meant to be a more convenient and easy alternative though.

Add 4oz milk, blend on low to begin, speed up a bit until good consistency.

CRUSHS is specifically formulated with milk powders to become amazing, great tasting, creamy ice cream.

More detailed instructions and tips on the Make it page.

What kind of milk should I use?

Any milk works. Dairy, almond, oat, or other milk alternatives work great. Use what fits your taste and goals. Some people want lower calories. Some want even more protein. Some want super low sugar. CRUSHS is pretty versatile. We encourage you to experiment and find what you like best.

What am I paying for?

A high quality mix with more time to enjoy your ice cream vs perfecting recipes. Our ingredients are expensive. We'll never will use a cheap fillers or sweeteners that are unhealthy.

We could have used a sweetener which is at least 10 times cheaper than monk fruit for example. Or low quality milk powders that would cost about half as much. We're not going to use cheap stuff just to get a few extra sales. When you buy 2+ bags we're about $4 a pint plus a little for your milk.

If you sign up for emails (see the sign up form in the footer below) we have special deals every so often, especially for current customers.

We have a 60 day guarantee so if you're worried you won't like it we'll take care of you.

How does it taste?

We spent a TON of time creating these flavors and choosing the best ingredients for the job. We must have tested at least 100 recipes. Maybe 200. That was interesting and fun. The flavors we have now are really good.

The vanilla is smooth and creamy with that classic flavor you’d expect from a tub of vanilla ice cream at the grocery store, but made with cleaner ingredients and none of the heaviness.

Chocolate tastes like classic milk chocolate ice cream. It’s smooth, creamy, and mellow, with that soft cocoa flavor you’d expect from the kind of chocolate you grew up eating.

The Strawberry is very good. Creamy with a nice tang to it. A nice, new addition we added in July. The strawberry is my (David's) favorite :)

We're testing some new flavors and hope to have them out in the next few months.

All of the flavors are great on their own or as a base for your own mix-ins and creations. Check out our Mix-Ins page for ideas.

Do I need a Ninja Creami?

Nope. It works amazingly well with a Creami, but also works well with any standard ice cream maker. You can even use a good blender, some crushed ice and a little milk for a soft-serve style ice cream. We have tips on our Make It page.

Highly recommend getting a Creami. Not just for CRUSHS but for all types of good treats. It's worth it. The other methods work well too.

How much does one bag make?

Each bag makes 8 pints. Mixing two scoops plus your choice of milk (10-12 ounces) is equal to one pint.

A closer look at the macros and mix

Two scoops of CRUSHS blend contains 24 grams of complete dairy protein, 170 calories, ~3g total sugars and 9-10g of net carbs. We use premium, high-quality ingredients and natural sweeteners (allulose and monk fruit).

Each flavor's nutrition panel and ingredients can be found in the accordion dropdown above.

Is there any sugar in it?

No added sugar at all. The 3 grams on the label comes from the natural milk sugar (lactose) of the milk powders.

It’s sweetened with natural, low-glycemic sweeteners: monk fruit and allulose.

Does it contain allergens?

CRUSHS contains dairy from milk/dairy powders, so it’s not suitable for people with milk allergies.

The mix doesn't contain gluten, soy, eggs, nuts, or other major allergens.

Is it keto?

Not fully keto, but it’s very low in net carbs and contains no added sugar. It fits well into many low carb lifestyles.

Keep in mind this is for a full pint:

Vanilla:

9g net carbs per pint = 16g carbs – 6g allulose – 1g fiber

Chocolate:

9g net carbs per pint = 16g carbs – 6g allulose – 1g fiber

Strawberry:

10g net carbs per pint = 17g carbs – 6g allulose – 1g fiber

Most ice cream brands' serving size is 2/3 cup. Ours is 3x that at 1 full pint.

Is it lactose free?

No, but very low. It’s made with milk powders which naturally contain some lactose. Each serving has about 2.6-3g of lactose.

Some lactose intolerant customers have reported using Lactaid or low lactose milks with CRUSHS. We are not doctors so you make your own decision :)

Is it gluten free?

Yes. There are no gluten-containing ingredients in CRUSHS.

Is there a plant-based version?

Not at the moment. We've had several people ask and it's something we will be working on as we grow.

How should I store it?

Keep the pouch sealed and stored in a cool, dry place.

No refrigeration needed, just keep it away from heat and humidity to preserve freshness and flavor.

What if I want to return something?

We want you to have the best experience with CRUSHS. Returns are rare which is nice, but we do have a 60 day taste guarantee. Reach out and we'll help you out no matter what. Happy customers are extremely important to us.

Why haven't I heard of you?

You're one of the early ones! We're still a pretty new company. We've had this idea for a few years but finally got the business going and started selling here on our site earlier this year. It takes a LOT of work! We'll likely be on Amazon and possibly retail stores in the future.

If you're reading this know that you're still very early and we appreciate each one of our customers for helping us create something special and for all the love and support. We love the happy vibes.

Who is "we"? Founder David and his wife Kathy right now.

What if I’m still on the fence?

We get it. Here’s a nudge:

Use code INSIDESCOOP for $5 off your first order. A little something for making it all the way down here :)

Still have questions?

Send us an email to support@crushs.com - we’re happy to help. We normally get back quickly but give us at least 24 hours.

Recently diagnosed with diabetes type 1 makes you rethink what you put into your body. I am trying to use food as medicine and came across Crushs. I love the vanilla the best, it mixes well and ice cream comes together like a dream. Having teenage boys who love ice cream and needing to up their protein, Crushs fits our lifestyle. I understand that quality ingredients cost more, although I wish it would be more affordable.

This is AMAZING! I made it with 11 oz unsweetened almond milk, 2 stevia packets and a tsp of vanilla flavoring. Terrific taste, smooth texture, just like regular ice cream but without the sick feeling afterward. Hubby loved his too and added two tablespoons of peanut butter.

Hi Bonnie - Sounds like a good combo you've got going on! Glad you and your hubby are happy. Thanks for the nice review :)

Made some huge changes exercising regularly and really cleaned up my diet in particular my sweet obsession. The ninja creami is a game changer and so is this product. Its incredibly easy and actually tastes really good. I like it much better than protein powder and ive found it mixes beautifully with almond milk if i want to keep my calories low and still tastes like ice cream or you can add a bit of cottage cheese or yogurt for xtra creaminess / taste/ protein Im on my second order and while some will say its pricey its a small amt when it keeps me on track with good ingredients. I eat one every single day and no longer need any type of desserts i used to crave and my kids love it. Its a game changer.

Been seeing the Crush’s ad in my FB feed for days. Decided to give it a try. I initially ordered the 3-pack (Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry).
I was VERY IMPRESSED with the overall flavor. It reminded me of that OLD-FASHIONED ICE CREAM PARLOR TASTE-Silky Smooth Texture, (like a Wendy’s Frosty) and the PERFECT amount of RICHNESS!
And the prep couldn’t be simpler- Add 2 scoops of mix to 10-12 oz of your fave type of milk (whole, 2%, almond, oat, etc) stir to blend, freeze for 24, spin, add Mix-Ins (if desired)), spin again, and ENJOY!
NO CREAM CHESSE or 1/2 and 1.2 to mess with!
Crush’s Ninja Creami Creation below was made with 2% milk, along with ONE (1) heaping tablespoon of the brownie mix, stirred, then froze for 24. Added 1.5 chunks of the sea salt caramels, broken into bite-sized pieces, into the mixture, and spun again on the Mix-In cycle.
End Results were PHENOMENAL! 👌
I have quite a few tasty ideas in mind for future Creami Creations, using the Crush’s line of Ice Cream Mixes as my base foundation. More to come!

Tried my first pint in the Ninja Creami. Very good texture, will add in a bit of vanilla for the next batch. Sweetness was spot on.

Hi Tamara - thanks for leaving your review. Glad you're enjoying it.

I was eating way too much ice cream, my weakness, and gaining weight like crazy. This mix is a game changer. I use it in the Ninja Creami. I tweaked the recipe a little by using one and a half scoops of powder (rather than the full 2), half a scoop of peanut butter powder and a pinch of sea salt. Once I respin it the second time in the creami I add a few dark chocolate chip[s and a tablespoon of no sugar peanut butter. So delicious and keeps me out of calorie trouble!

I’m so happy you came out with a healthy pre-mix protein ice cream that doesn’t have erythritol etc. It’s nearly perfect but not quite sweet enough without a few added boosts I’ve perfected.

I wanted to share some enhancements I’ve made that have elevated satisfaction to a 10 out of 10 for me. (8 out time before adding extras, not quite sweet enough is the problem).

I have a Ninja Creami Deluxe.
