I’ve had the idea for this for a few years now. Started working out, eating healthier and taking better care of myself a few years ago. I wanted to get more protein in so my wife and I started making healthy ice cream pints with our new Ninja Creami. We made a lot of great mixes but purchased a lot of ingredients that we never used or didn’t like. Plus, it was a bit time consuming.

I eventually found a nice mix of various milk and milk powders that I could mix together at home and use as the base for my mix each night. This was the beginning of CRUSHS.

CRUSHS is now much better and more grown up than those days. It’s nice to be able to sell something that people love the taste of and it’s not full of junky ingredients. Who knew ice cream could be so healthy?

In my past life I was a web and product designer working mostly for startups and my own clients in the NYC area. I used those skills to develop and create this small brand we now have.

Business has been great. It’s been a fun ride so far but we’re still a teeny weeny micro brand. If you’re reading this know that you’re early. And I’m extremely appreciative of every customer and supporter.
